Sembang Santai
Saturday 29th July
2.00pm - 4.00pm
Sembang Santai’ (Chat & Chill) Is a networking session for the Malay diaspora in the UK.
It is the first step in establishing a creative ecosystem and a growing directory for Malay artists and creatives.
Malays come from a wide area - Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, Indonesia, Thailand, and even as far as Sri Lanka and South Africa. We aim to begin a journey to celebrate our shared Malay identity - regardless of nationality and heritage - and embrace our similarities and differences; the only thing that matters is to identify as Malay. We would like to work with the wider Malay community in the UK to establish a network that will allow us to create for and invest in each other.
There will be a food live station from RD’s Satay who will be serving chicken satay for attendees.
This is a free event with registration using this link.
