Join us for this year’s rip-roaring Christmas pantomime: Robin Hood!

Help us outwit the dastardly Sheriff and save the people of Newingham! This new adaptation by comedy duo Thick 'n' Fast (Cassie Symes and Georgina Thomas) will have you cheering, singing along and laughing your tights off. With live music and an infectious energy, this intimate retelling of the classic folk tale is a perfect festive treat.

Babes in arms (under 18 months) are welcome in the auditorium, but outside of this tickets must be purchased per person attending - regardless of how old they are.

Cast List
Carlos Byles Robin Hood

Born and raised in Newham, Carlos Byles trained at The Brit School of Performing Arts. He is a talented British actor and musician with Jamaican heritage based in London. His credits include the roles of Sam Johnson and Alex Brown for the SAW Experience and on screen for the current television series Top Boy airing currently on Netflic. Other skills and experience include presenting, radio drama, spoken work and Carlos is a highly skilled Ice Skater!

Jazz Harbour Maid Marion & Archibald

Jazz Harbour is an actor-musician graduate from Rose Bruford.

Theatre credits include Bird Girl (Seussical the Musical), Nora (A Dolls House, adaptation by Stef Smith).

Radio credits include: A Touch of Class

Jazz is so excited to be playing Marian and Archibald in this new hilarious adaptation of Robin Hood.

She plays guitar, melodion, banjo, accordion and percussion.

Deakin van Leeuwen Sheriff

Cassie Symes trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. She is a co-founder of Thick ‘n’ Fast, resident artists at Applecart Arts and part of Soho Theatre’s ‘Soho Rising' '22.

As co-writer/director, theatre credits include: General Secretary (Soho Theatre; Gilded Balloon; VAULT Festival; Applecart Arts and national tour), Not Quite (Soho Theatre; Gilded Balloon), War Paint (Let Me In Festival, Berlin; Camden People’s Theatre; The Bike Shed; Off Europa Festival)

Georgina Thomas Co-Writer and Co-Director

Georgina Thomas trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama where she and Cassie Symes met. She is a co-founder of Thick ‘n’ Fast who are resident artists at Applecart Arts and were also listed as rising artists as part of Soho Theatre’s ‘Soho Rising 2022’.

As co-writer/director, theatre credits include: General Secretary (Soho Theatre; Gilded Balloon, VAULT Festival; Applecart Arts and national tour), Not Quite (Soho Theatre; Gilded Balloon).

Georgina has also written and performed in comedy shorts for Channel 4 digital and made a brief appearance as one of Danny Dyer’s ancestors in a documentary for BBC One.

Film credits include: Succulents (Finalist at Austin Micro Film Festival 2021, shortlisted for the Funny Women Awards 2021), The Beautiful Game (shortlisted for the Funny Women Awards 2022), Buffalo(longlisted for Funny Women Awards 2023).

Alice Carroll Set & Costume Designer

Alice Carroll is a set and costume designer based in London who trained at Rose Bruford College.

Recent design credits include: Can't see for looking, Oxford Old fire station and The Cockpit. A slight ache and The dumbwaiter, Greenwich Theatre. Vincent River, Greenwich Theatre. Agrippina, Jacksons Lane Theatre. Astoria, Brockley Jack Studio Theatre. The Light Trail, The Hope Theatre.

Eleanor Rattenbury Movement Director

Eleanor is an actor and movement artist specialising in physical, interactive, and devised performance. She regularly works as a collaborative artist with companies in London and the West Midlands.

Eleanor’s credits include: PITCH (November Theatre/Pleasance), You’re Out of This World, [Redacted] Night Tours, Deepfake (LYNNEBEC), Fashion Spies (Quick Duck Theatre/Assembly Festival/UK Tour), Confetti (Soho Theatre/UK Tour) and Flappy (UK Tour).

Will Alder Lighting Designer

Will enjoys a busy career Lighting Designer and Producer.

Previous work with companies such as the Barbican, Oxford Playhouse, the Royal Opera House, Southbank Centre, National Youth Theatre, in London’s West End, and on tour nationally and internationally.

Tilly is a freelance stage manager based in London. Her credits include The PappyShow (Barbican Theatre), Gentlemen (Arcola Theatre), Edging (Old Red Lion Theatre), Is this the end for Captain Space?
