A poetry workshop facilitated by multi-award nominated writer and performer Laura Wyatt O’Keeffe.

The ‘She’s a Hedonist’ workshop uses poetry, pop songs and post-it notes to explore female identity, the labels we are given and the stories we choose to tell about ourselves. Developed with a CBT practitioner and poet, this workshop is a collaborative and joyful celebration of female power!

Drawing playfully from the tabloids, Instagram and fairytales, Laura's carefully paced exercises create the ideal conditions for experimentation, rewriting the rules and developing a take-home writing practice centred upon self expression and self-care.

With the support of Arts Council England, Arts Council Malta and the Barbican Arts Centre, this workshop has featured at festivals throughout Europe including Camp Bestival, Meadows in the Mountains and Cork Midsummer Festival.

Previous workshop participants described the workshop as “inspiring, confidence-building, collaborative and vibrant”.
