In our very busy, tech-driven world finding time to play and be creative can be difficult. Our modern lifestyles also mean that we can become out of touch with our bodies and our mental wellbeing. 

As families it can sometimes be a challenge to find quality time to connect with each other. We may hold particular stories about each other and our family as a whole, sometimes without even realising it. Uncovering and looking at these stories can be a way to create deeper connections with our loved ones. 

You Can Art is a creative wellbeing workshop which uses guided arts activities to help us reawaken our body senses and make space to have fun, relax and listen to what might be happening on the inside of ourselves and our family. 

With paint, charcoal, crafts, drama games, meditative tools and storytelling prompts your facilitators will lead you to make some art and to reflect on the images you create together. 

Please note this workshop is a therapeutic space but is not therapy. Families of any size are welcome, with a minimum age of 5 years old for children. 

All materials are provided and no arts experience is necessary!  Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
