'The White Rose' is a work-in-progress historical musical recounting the heartbreaking story of Hans and Sophie through the eyes of their father, Robert Scholl. The narrative, enriched by an artistic blend of music and drama, immerses the audience in the courageous journey of two teenagers who dared to defy Hitler.

From Hans and Sophie's involvement in The Hitler Youth to their awakening dissent, the musical paints a vivid picture of their ideological transformation and mission. The White Rose, an idealistic group of friends, emerged as beacons of resistance throughout Nazi Germany utilising anonymous writings to mobilise Germans against Hitler. The plot navigates through key moments of their lives: Hans' conflicts with the regime, Sophie's struggle within Nazi organisations, and the imprisonment of their father. The gripping climax unfolds as Hans, Sophie, and their comrades face arrest and a dramatic show trial. The musical delves into their unwavering commitment, refusal to betray each other, and the harrowing decision to embrace martyrdom by guillotine.

The musical questions if Hans and Sophie's sacrifice was in vain. A question only we know the answer to.

'The White Rose' discusses themes like courage, freedom and love in a creative blend of music and drama.
