Our well loved community centre is in desperate need of repairs and renovation if it is to continue serving our community and neighbours. 

We are hoping to restore our building with brand-new theatre and meeting spaces, improvements to our cafe and entrance areas, refurbished toilets, and improved accessibility throughout the entire building, including lift access to all floors.

To do all this and to do it well, we need to pay for expensive surveys and feasibility studies. That's where you come in.

In supporting this fundraising campaign, you will be saving the Harold Road Centre from demolition. These redevelopments will provide a greater opportunity for our theatre and arts programme, as well as creating improved meeting and event spaces for our local community to use. We aim to become more environmentally friendly through reducing water and energy waste, and our improved accessibility will mean more people can take advantage of what we offer at Applecart. Supporting the development of the Harold Road Centre will have huge benefits for our local Newham community, creating more opportunities for employment, volunteering and education.
