We’ve moved!
In December 2021 we stripped our lighting rig, packed up boxes and loaded up the van and made the move to our new venue, The Passmore Edwards Building in Plashet Grove, East Ham. (Find us here.)
Opened in 1899, Passmore Edwards is a beautiful former library and registry office that was just waiting for a new lease of life – enter Applecart Arts!
We're thrilled to have considerately renovated this building to a point where we are now open to the public (and have been since mid-2022). Having spent months gaining planning permission, and then re-wiring, drilling, painting, sanding and cleaning, we are thrilled to see our new home continue to thrive. For more information about what we do, have a look around our website or pop in for a coffee!
For all accessibility info, please visit our Find Us page.
The theatre space at our new building The Passmore Edwards Building is now open to visiting events shows and the public!

We've also brought our broadcasting equipment to the site, and with a dedicated leased fibre internet connection to the building we boast super fast internet across the building and ultra reliable and beautifully produced live streams to anywhere in the world.
We're excited to provide a platform for artists and performers both from our local community and beyond.

We now have office spaces and studios available at affordable prices for our local community. Spaces range from small studios for artists to rent a private space, or shared facilities where artists can work with others of similar disciplines in a light open studio. All our studios are located on the first floor which due to the nature of our lovely listed building unfortunately does have any wheelchair access. They do afford beautiful views over the park and light, bright south west facing windows. To find out more about our studio spaces, email Grace and Joan on info@applecartarts.com
