Join us in our family friendly placard making workshop inspired by the unity and activism of local women, from suffragette Adelaide Knight to community-based anti-racist organisation Newham Monitoring Project. Design your own poster and tell us what you want to campaign for today.

East End Women’s Museum is dedicated to telling the powerful stories of East London women, both past and present. It seeks to better represent hidden lives, challenge gender inequalities and stereotypes, and empower women and girls to share their stories and find their own voice. The Museum was established in 2015 as a positive protest to a ‘Jack the Ripper Museum’ in Cable Street. The Museum has run as a pop-up/virtual museum and is now set to open a building in Barking Town Centre in 2022.
