Join the Big Family Press in making your own artwork exploring Newham.

Choose from a number of riso printed photographs of familiar places in the borough. How many do you recognise? What can you imagine about these places?

Using our artist made illustrated resources, plus your own creations, we invite you to collage scenes to tell your own stories. These will result in exciting and colourful art creations for you to take home.

The Big Family Press is a community riso printing press developed with children, now based in Old Manor Park Library with Rabbits Road Press.

A risograph is a special kind of printer we use, with which you can print large quantites in unique colours. Using D.I.Y. publishing strategies and collaborative, experimental and child-led approach, young people are supported to articulate and share personal stories, histories and demands for the world.
